Privacy Policy
Sensational Fruit Parfait · Version 1 · Last updated 11 August 2026
The short version. Sensational Fruit Parfait has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Everything you make, every photograph you take inside the app, and every preference you set stays on your device. We do not run a service that receives your creations or your photographs, because there is nothing on our side to receive them.
Who this policy is for
This policy describes how the Sensational Fruit Parfait iOS app handles information. It covers the app itself and this document. It is written for the person using the app, in plain language, and it describes what the shipped app actually does.
What the app stores on your device
All of the following lives inside the app's own private container on your iPhone or iPad. None of it is uploaded, backed up to our systems, or shared with anyone. It is included in your encrypted device backup only if you have iCloud Backup or an encrypted local backup turned on, which is a setting on your device, not in this app.
- Your parfaits. The compositions you build: which ingredients, in which order, in what quantities, in which vessel, along with the title you give them and the harmony scores the app calculated.
- Your palate profile. A short list of numbers describing how sweet, acidic, bitter, rich, crunchy and aromatic your choices tend to be, learned from the ratings you give your own creations.
- Your progress. Techniques unlocked, briefs completed, achievements earned, streak days and étude points.
- Photographs you capture in the app. Images taken through Colour Harvest, Portrait Studio, Texture Capture and the profile avatar, plus the colour palettes and layer materials derived from them.
- Your settings. Motion, haptics, appearance, units, and sound levels.
- Your acceptance of this policy. The version number you accepted and the date and time you accepted it. Nothing else.
Camera and photographs
The app asks for camera access for three features: reading colours from whatever you point the camera at, placing a parfait you built into a photograph, and capturing surface textures to use as layer materials.
- Camera frames are processed entirely on your device, in memory, as they arrive. Nothing is transmitted while the camera is running.
- A photograph is only written to storage when you deliberately capture one. It is written into the app's private container, not to your photo library.
- The app asks for permission to add to your photo library only at the moment you export a parfait portrait or a recipe card. It never asks to read your library, and it cannot see photos you did not hand to it.
- The app does not request or use location data. Photographs it captures itself carry no location, because the app has no location access to record one with.
- You can withdraw camera or photo-library access at any time in the iOS Settings app. The affected features stop working; nothing else in the app is impaired.
What the app does not do
- There are no user accounts, sign-ins, e-mail addresses, phone numbers or passwords.
- There is no analytics, telemetry, usage measurement or behavioural profiling.
- There is no advertising, no advertising identifier, no attribution or fingerprinting, and no data sold or shared with anyone for any purpose.
- The app does not track you across other apps or websites, and it does not join anything it holds with data from any other source.
- Your parfaits, your palate profile, your progress and your photographs never leave your device.
Network activity
The app is fully usable with no network connection at all. Its ingredient library, briefs, artwork and audio are shipped inside the app, and none of your content is uploaded.
Where the app does reach the network, the request reveals only what any HTTP request unavoidably reveals to the server answering it: your IP address, the time, and the standard headers your system sets. One such request is the fetch of the current copy of this policy, so that you always read the newest version; if it fails, is slow, or has not been configured, the app quietly shows the identical copy stored inside the app instead. The web view that displays this page uses a non-persistent data store, so no cookies or site data survive closing the screen.
Diagnostics and support messages
We do not collect diagnostics automatically. If you contact us — through the support page or by e-mail — we receive the e-mail address you supply, the reason you select, and the message you write. We use it to answer you and to fix what you reported, we do not use it for marketing, and we do not sell or share it. Support correspondence is kept only for as long as it takes to resolve your request and to keep a record of a reported defect, and is then deleted.
Crash reports reach us only if you have enabled Apple's Share With App Developers setting on your device. Those come from Apple, are aggregated, and contain none of the content you created.
Children's privacy
Sensational Fruit Parfait is suitable for a general audience, including children. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either. There are no accounts to create, no messaging, no user-to-user features, no advertising and no in-app purchases. Parents and guardians who would prefer camera use to be unavailable can turn it off for this app in iOS Settings, or under Screen Time.
How to erase your data
- Photographs and textures: Settings → Privacy inside the app has an Erase captured photos action that deletes every image the app captured, together with the palettes and materials derived from them.
- Everything else: deleting the app removes its entire container — parfaits, palate profile, progress, settings and the record of your consent — from your device. iOS performs this deletion; nothing is retained anywhere else, because nothing was ever sent anywhere else.
- Exported images that you saved to your photo library belong to you and stay there; delete them in the Photos app if you want them gone.
- Support correspondence: ask us and we delete it.
Your rights
Data-protection law — including the GDPR in the UK and EU, and the CCPA in California — gives you rights to access, correct, export and delete the personal data a company holds about you. The only personal data we can hold about you is a support message you chose to send us. There is no profile assembled about you and no third party we have passed anything to. Everything the app holds is in your hands on your device, and the deletion routes above are complete and immediate. To exercise any of these rights, or if you believe otherwise, write to us through the support page and we will answer.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the version number at the top of this document is increased and the app asks you to read and accept the new version the next time you open it. The date you accepted, and the version you accepted, are shown in Settings → Privacy.
